Missions |
Missions is an integral part of New Hope Ministries' vision to reach our city, our state, our nation and the world. Because our outreaches are local, national and global, anyone with a desire to be involved in missions is sure to find a place to serve.
Mission Trips - New Hope Ministries conducts 12 -15 mission trips annually with specialty focuses in areas of evangelism, medical / dental, construction and education. On average, 5,000 people come to Jesus through the mission efforts of New Hope Ministries.
Public School Program - In appreciation for those who work with the children of our community, the Women's Ministry provides gifts for teachers and staff members of schools located in the vicinity of New Hope Ministries.
Mission Conferences - Mission conferences not only provide a place of retreat fro NHM missionaries, but they connect members of the local body to the various mission trip opportunities that are available at New Hope.
Ministry to the Incarcerated - New Hope's ministry to the incarcerated reaches in to state facilities, the county jail, and juvenile facilities. Ministry activities include church services and one-on-one ministry with inmates. Aftercare is available to assist those returning to civilian life with their spiritual and physical needs. The church also provides care for families of the incarcerated, especially during the holidays.
Missionary Relations - We want the missionaries who receive our financial & spiritual support to feel they are part of New Hope Ministries. Volunteers communicate with missionaries via email, cards & letters. They also send tapes of NHM services and copies of our publications to those on the mission field.
Women's Shelter - The Women's Ministry supplies individual baskets for women who are forced to find shelter from abusive relationships in their homes. These baskets contain products for basic hygiene, hair care and pampering.
Local Outreach - In addition to providing financial support for many local ministries, New Hope Ministries has become an established part of the Naples community, participating in events such as local parades, Christmas celebrations and outdoor concerts.
Homebound Ministry - New Hope Ministries provides members that are unable to leave their homes, a life line of support, through prayer, visitations, transportation services & meals.
Hospital Ministry - When someone is admitted to the hospital for a long period of time, NHM has a team that visits those in the hospital. Offering them prayer and support.
