Ministry of HELPS

New Hope Ministries considers its volunteers to be one of the most important groups at any function.  They are sent to us by the Lord and share in making blessings available to all who attend.

Parking Lot Attendants - Parking Lot Attendants are the very first smiling faces people see when they drive onto the New Hope Ministries property.  They help direct traffic into the appropriate area of the parking lot, allowing for visitors to have the VIP parking, and they offer assistance to the handicapped, as needed.  They also help with;  wheelchair service, umbrella service, front door shuttle, traffic direction, protection of vehicles & flat tire/auto issues.

Greeters - Greeters open doors & welcome people as they enter the church and sanctuary.  They are also stationed in designated areas around the sanctuary to encourage congregational fellowship before and after service.  They are also responsible for escorting first-time visitors to the Hospitality Team after each service.

Ushers - Ushers are responsible for a wide array of duties; communion distribution, passing our Bibles & Visitor Packets, confirm that tithe envelopes are stocked, assistance for emergency medical needs & assist in severe weather conditions or evacuations.

Hospitality Team - Our Hospitality team meets all of our visitors, escorting them to the Hospitality Room for a personal introduction to Pastor.  They provide assistance in the presentation of "gift bags" and refreshments.  They are "love in action" as an extension of Pastor.

Medical Emergency Team - The Medical Emergency Team works closely with the Security Team and the Ushers.  Each team member is a medical professional, who is CPR & First Aid certified.  They handle medical emergencies and achieve stability until paramedics arrive on the scene.  Our team works closely with all emergency services of Collier County.  They apply prayer, faith and medical assistance in love.

Security Team - Our Security Team ensures the safety and well being of all on the campus.  They are trained to recognize potential disruptions., administer verbal intervention strategies, and to intercept and prevent problems before they arise.  The "Armor Bearers" keep our church safe.

External Emergency Team - In the event of community-wide emergencies, volunteer crews are formed to assist New Hope members.  Concentration begins with the elderly, single mothers and then others identified as needing assistance.

Ministry of HELPS (Handing Everyone Love & Providing Service) is an opportunity for people to serve one another.  Top quality people, whether behind the scenes or greeting at the front doors, are the backbone or framework of the church.
